MCP (Model Context Protocol) makes that workflow much smoother by bringing Helpfruit tools into the AI environment teams already use. MCP is a universal way to connect AI to your other systems so with MCP support in Helpfruit it allows AI tools to work with Helpfruit contents.

Instead of moving between the portal, an AI assistant, and a documentation workflow, teams can search tickets, retrieve articles, summarise issues, update content, and connect support answers to knowledge base articles from one place.

This reduces context switching and makes routine tasks easier to keep on top of including tasks like:

Built for practical AI use

To get this going we kept the implementation focused.

First, we added a small set of AI-friendly Helpfruit endpoints for tickets and articles. These return clean, structured data that works well in assistant workflows.

Second, we provided an OpenAI-style specification that an AI platform can use to connect those endpoints through MCP. For example, a tool like Theta Assist can use that specification to make Helpfruit actions available inside an assistant workflow.

Now we have added support for reading and updating/creating Q&A content and reveiwing conversations.

The result is simple: Helpfruit becomes directly usable inside AI-assisted workflows.
